Shiny Leaves

This painting was inspired by a visit to my sister’s new home, in her mother’s basement. The couch was recovered, so bright white. I had some nice old vase blue I was playing with when I saw the couch.

I’m playing around with my arm again, so the left side of my body is a bit different. My right hand is holding my paint brush, still. LOL. I used some masking techniques to bring out the base color of the floral plate.—
